Xinzhuang Line-Taipei Bridge Station (O7)

This station will be located on Chongxin Road, Section 1, between the intersections of Central South & North Road and Wenhua South & North Road, Sanchong City.

Station Volume:

Underground six-level station, 179.2 m long x 14.775 m wide x 33 m deep.

Project Description:

Taipei Bridge Station is located in a busy commercial district of Sanchong City. It is the first station on the Xinzhuang line in Taipei County, opposite the Daqiaotou Station on the other side of the Tamsui River. With excavations 33 meters deep, its construction was the most difficult part of the whole Xinzhuang line.

Design Concept:

Based on a theme of "Sunset-bathed Iron Bridge," presenting images of the Tamsui River, Guanyin Mountain and a "bazaar culture."

Architectural Style:

The architectural design provides a distinct theme compatible with the surroundings (e.g. the old and current Taipei Bridge, etc.) and at the same time meets the design criteria for appearance and function. In particular, the ceramic-tile inlaid artistic images and pictures on the walls and ceilings call to mind beautiful memories of the old days.
